2025: Celebrating 25 Years of Growth, Community, and High-Quality Tree Care
This year marked a major milestone for all of us at Tall Timbers Tree & Shrub Service our 25th anniversary. What started as a vision rooted in hard work, integrity, and a love for trees has grown into something far greater: a company supported by an incredible team, loyal clients, and a community we are honored to serve.
To celebrate this quarter-century achievement, we gathered the people who make Tall Timbers what it is today. We celebrated with a company golf tournament and BBQ! A day filled with laughter, gratitude, and reflection on how far we've come together. Looking back at 25 years of growth reminds us that our success isn't measured just in trees planted or services rendered, but in the relationships we've built and the lives we've touched along the way.
Giving Back to the Communities We Serve
This year was especially meaningful because of the impact we were able to make beyond tree care. Community involvement has always been part of our roots, and 2025 was no exception. We believe that caring for our community is just as important as caring for its trees.
Some of the projects we were proud to be part of this year include:
Participating in an Earth Day cleanup on Gold Camp Road, helping protect one of our region's treasured outdoor spaces from litter and debris while preserving its natural beauty for generations to come.
Joining Saluting Branches, where our entire team volunteered to maintain the ground of the Evergreen Cemetery. This powerful day reminded us that trees represent not just growth, but remembrance and gratitude for those who've served our country.
Collecting turkeys for the Southern Colorado Care and Share Food Bank, helping local families put food on their tables during the holiday season. Our team rallied together to make a tangible difference when it matters most.
Donating tree debris to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, supporting sustainability and animal habitat enrichment. What others might see as waste, we saw as an opportunity to give back to the incredible animals and educators at one of our region's most beloved institutions.
Through our nonprofit initiative, The ROE Project, we were also able to donate trees to meaningful causes, including the Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity. These donations help create healthier, greener spaces for families facing challenges, bringing shade, beauty, and hope to those who need it most.
Growing Our Team and Our Expertise
This year was also about growth professionally and personally. We've always believed that investing in our team's skills and knowledge translates directly into better care for your trees, and 2025 proved that philosophy right.
For the first time in company history, Tall Timbers climbers competed in a tree climbing competition in Denver, representing our company and sharpening their skills among the best in the industry. Watching our team challenge themselves at this level filled us with pride and reminded us that excellence is a journey, not a destination.
We also hosted an all-crew training weekend in Woodland Park, where our team camped under the stars, trained together, and learned new techniques from each other and industry experts. It was an unforgettable experience that strengthened not just technical skills, but the teamwork and camaraderie that make Tall Timbers special. When our crew works in sync, your trees benefit.
On the service side, we expanded our capabilities by adding air spading technology and officially launching our Scout Program. These additions significantly expanded our Plant Health Care department, allowing us to better diagnose hidden issues, protect delicate root systems, and take a proactive approach to long-term tree health for our clients. Air spading lets us see what's happening beneath the surface, while our Scout Program brings certified arborists to your property monthly to catch problems before they become emergencies.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
As we reflect on 25 years, we are incredibly proud of what we've built but even more excited about what's ahead. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our team, the support of our partners, and most importantly, the trust of our community.
To our clients: Thank you for choosing Tall Timbers, year after year. Your trust allows us to continue doing what we love. Providing high-quality tree care while rejuvenating our earth one tree at a time. Whether we've cared for your trees for decades or you've just discovered us, we are grateful to be your partner in protecting and enhancing your landscape.
Every tree we plant, every branch we prune, and every problem we solve represents a commitment to you and to the green spaces that make our region beautiful. Here's to the next chapter, to continued growth, and to many more years of serving this community we love.
Thank you for 25 incredible years!
